Album Description

This presentation of my original works is a reflection of my extensive career and exciting musical journey. Even though these nine compositions all share a common denominator, they emerged from quite divergent musical genres, and cultural climates and various time periods within my career. Three of these tracks (“Neverending Story,” “When I Miss You” and “Who's There?”) are my most recent compositions, written specifically for this album. “Night of Champagne” was written in the 80’s for my rock band in the former Czechoslovakia, and “Ogooué” came about before I left Europe for West Africa. “Sure Thing” was written in the 90's for my Brazilian jazz band and “Memories of Marseille” reflects my incredibly motivating stay in this Mediterranean metropolis. I would like to thank my friends and wonderful fellow musicians in the U.S., Canada and the Czech Republic for contributing their talents to this project.
