Album Description

Ron’s sound is inspired by the Hard Bop of the 1950’s and 1960’s. His music and playing attempt to recreate the vibe and the sound of this genre, while evolving modern concepts and sounds into a compilation of old and new. As a leader, Ron released his debut album “Until Now” on the British jazz label “Ubuntu Music” (2022). The album features original music that inspired by the sound of the Hard Bop of the 1950’s and 1960’s. The band features Ron Magril on Guitar and Compositions, Yonatan Riklis on Piano, Oren Hardy on Contrabass and Ofri Nehemya on Drums. After the release of the album, The quartet toured the U.K to celebrate the release of their debut album.
