Album Description

SYNTH takes the listener on a sublime musical journey evocative of 80's crime-drama television, National Geographic soundtracks, and Stranger Things. The concept behind SYNTH was to create a soundscape that was built around the character and emulation of old 70's and 80's synthesizers. Using a combination of software and hardware synths, I attempted to avoid the true-to-life and realism of acoustic pianos, orchestras, and other instrumentation that modern synthesizer technology has come to emulate so well. Instead, the instrumentation is meant to sound organic, original, and other worldly....sounds that you expect to hear from a synthesizer attempting to sound like a piano from 1975.
