"Grzanna's own saxophone playing is where the record earns its glamour. She phrases with the confidence of someone who has spent decades learning exactly how long to hold a note before the silence starts doing the talking. Her tone is rounded rather than brash, favouring warmth over showiness, though the improvisation she weaves through the melody proves she can turn on the fireworks when the moment calls for it." by Indie Dock Music Blog

“It is, however, Suzanne Grzanna’s performance that defines the recording, as her saxophone voice moves gracefully between memorable melodic statements and stunning improvisation, delivering moments of elegance, power and spontaneity throughout the track. Dancing above the lively shuffle of the arrangement, her bright sax performance spins fluttering leads that bend between jumpy rhythmic delivery and smooth melodic stretches, resulting in an utterly charming jam that’s catchy, invigorating and guaranteed to put a smile on your face.”

"At the heart of the track is Grzanna’s saxophone performance. Her tone is both powerful and graceful, effortlessly shifting between expressive phrasing and spirited improvisation. She doesn’t just play the melody—she inhabits it, bringing a sense of storytelling that elevates the piece beyond a standard jazz composition. There’s a cinematic quality to her playing, as if each note is painting a scene of sunlit coastlines and open horizons."

“Suzanne Grzanna “Sunset Dreams” turns every saxophone note into a Golden Escape”
“Suzanne Grzanna’s saxophone turns ‘Sunset Dreams’ into a melody that feels as calming as the sunset itself.” “Sunset Dreams’ carries the feeling of a day that refuses to end, where the sky is still glowing, the breeze is warm, and there’s nowhere else you’d rather be. As a master of the saxophone, she leaves you mesmerized with every passing second.
The heart of the composition, emotionally, is Grzanna’s saxophone playing, which balances elegance and strength with astonishing ease. Her expressive phrasing and dynamic improvisation give personality to every passage and demonstrate the creativity that has helped make her a respected voice in current jazz.
