Raum 610 is a celebration of friendship and music that combines the prog-rock bandsound of the '70s with 21st-century contemporary jazz in a playful and highly collaborative way. The music incorporates theatrical elements, written and improvised sections. Başak Yavuz is one of Turkey's leading jazz figures. The international projects she developed and performed illustrate cross-cultural exchange and communication; her music is eclectic, heartfelt, and has just the right amount of biting honesty.
