Album Description

This Suite is inspired from five distinctive musical and cultural flavours and styles that mark a certain direction on the compass. Therefore, East Point gathers ideas from Middle East in contrast with West Point that enhances a more poethical approach – the feeling of melancholia brought by the sun setting. North Point is obviously presenting a frozen place with a sort of cool and relaxed vibe, South Point gets as solar and energetic as the Mediterranean, while Counterpoint depicts an urban, minimal and neutral musical land – inspired by „New York Counterpoint” by Steve Reich.

The pieces on this album means a lot to us, since each and every one has a story to tell and marks a small but important progress in searching and developing our own musical taste and sound signatures. We hope that you will enjoy listening to it as much as we did composing, rehearsing, playing and recording it.
