All compositions by Ron Coulter, Mike Facey, Farrell Lowe, Hugh Ragin, and Bret Sexton Recorded December 30, 2021 at Mighty Fine Productions in Denver, CO Audio recording by Loren Dorland Mixing, mastering, and graphic design by Ron Coulter ree jazz troupe SeFa LoCo is back again with trumpet master Hugh Ragin. This release, a companion to 'Entanglements' and from the same sessions, is an unbridled journey into territories unknown, in keeping with the spirit of the Casper, Wyoming based Creative Music Series that spawned the group. Saxophonist Bret Sexton and guitarist Farrell Lowe are longtime contributors to the Denver-Boulder experimental music community. Bassist Mike Facey is a veteran performer and session musician. Percussionist and composer Ron Coulter, who curated the Series, has toured three continents with a wide array of ensembles. Ragin has extensive jazz credits, including the Art Ensemble of Chicago. All have been prolific in performing, writing and recording new music. Together, SeFa LoCo forges a rare chemistry that transcends its members' varied backgrounds and experiences.
