The Michael Lauren Trio plays a powerful and sophisticated mix of Hard Swinging, Rocking, and Funky Jazz. What they play is not “Just Jazz” but “Jazz & Beyond”. This eclectic album was pulled from a Live Stream concert the trio performed in late June 2021 at the Mobydick Records recording studio in Braga Portugal. So, what you hear is what you get, "Jazz with an Attitude". This is jazz that is energetic, fresh, honest, exciting and authentic.
