Album Description

The EP «Leonid Ptashka & Uralskiy Dixieland» is a bold artistic experiment in which the music of the modern Israeli composer Leonid Ptashka is performed by the author together with his long- time friends and creative partners - musicians of the Uralskiy Dixieland jazz ensemble. Previously, the jazzmen have repeatedly met on stage, played joint concerts during tours and jazz festivals both in Russia and in Israel. Thanks to the Ptashka's magnificent pianism, thanks to the ensemble coherence and the density of the Dixieland sound, their music performed enjoyed constant success with the public.
