Glam Sam And His Combo
band / ensemble / orchestraAlbum Description
Yes, he’s back, back to groove, back by popular demand. Make some noise for Mister Glam Sam, the groovy Swedish composer and producer.
Mr Glam Sam now brings new life to his most beloved classics. Here you are, ten gems for the dancefloor and the jazz club, lightly remastered.
There’s pretty much everything you need here: the sounds to make you smile, dig, lounge and dance. Maybe you prefer to call it cool music? Many groovy people do. The tunes are just cool and funky, with a twist of jazz. A groove to enjoy, hustle and bump to any time in the evening, every evening.
So, here you find Glam Sam classics such as “I’m The Dude, Man” and “The Concept Of Being Hip”, grooves that still are being spinned by radio DJs and on dancefloors all over the world, named “very hip and cool” by the famous Swedish DJ and former ABBA touring man Claes af Geijerstam.
"I'm The Dude, Man" was the first single from this album and became a radio hit on English soul radio stations immediately after its release in September 2026, charting on the UK Soul Chart and peaking at #2 on Solar Radio's Sweet Rhythms Chart.
And the sweetness of jazz ballads such as “Those Sweet And Funny Nights” and “Charmy” will capture your heart, if you’ve got one …
Check out the words about the music of Glam Sam And His Combo:
“He’s such a talented guy!”
Tony Monson, DJ, radio host and founder of Solar Radio, London
“Always very creative and unpredictable, and that’s why I’m a fan.”
John Osborne, DJ and radio host at Jazz FM (UK) and Solar Radio, London
“Universal club-sounds at the highest level! Let yourself sway away under the colourful disco lights!”
Sonic Soul, Germany
“SUBERB! It’s hip, groovy and fun! One I can see going MASSIVE in the clubs!”
Barry Towler, Soul Express
“Filled to the brim with sexy, funky, retro beats that are unabashedly intended to get the party started right! Last year I got my hands on the first release from Stockholm-based Glam Sam And His Combo hours before a big gig here in San Francisco. Just as I was transitioning from midtempo to dance, on a whim I mixed in his 120bpm track The Dude. To say it was a hit is an understatement. I have since used the track many times to get the groove on, and it never fails to draw a few curious souls to the DJ booth to get the 4-1-1 on the song.”
Jeff Stallings, DJ in San Francisco
