Album Description
1. Zigzag vocal is a shuffled rock blues with jazz colors and harmonies. It is introduced here in its initial instruVocal version arranged with a medium-up tempo (qn156) and recorded in 2011. 2. Donald 1986 is a West Coast rock that swings with Jazz colors. A title composed in 1986 in the spirit and as a tribute of music of our Mentor Mr Donald Fagen. Recorded & arranged in 2012. 3. L’Homme que j’aime is a cool Pop Folk & Rock tunes. A version recorded in 2012 with a nice association of instrumental-voices, synth-waves, folk guitar & harmonica. 4. My little shuffle road is a cool Pop rock song (instruVocal) with a new age atmosphere that maries with Jazz colors in its verses and nice interlude. 5. Si tu crois a nice Ska instruVocal version of an original and timeless Jazz theme. 6. Oh my soul ! is a wonderful dreaming & meditative Soft Pop Rock song. To never give up on having talks with your soul. 7. Près de moi is a tune dedicated to each of our guardian angels. With a slow tempo, this very nice melody starts with instruVocal performances, then chains with a superb sax instrumental solo, and concludes with unforgettable whistling section. 8. Yes, Love never give up. Composed between 1994 and 1998 this tune is an awesome Pop Rock Jazz Fusion theme. Recorded in a rough version at that time, it remained backed up until a few months ago, then was restored, cleaned and shaped in order to restitute the best of its original spirit, groove and sounds. Performed & produced few months ago with its native instrumental arrangement using customized DX7 and standard Roland Sound Canvas MkII sounds of late 80’s, plus a Tenor sax enriching a large part of melody lines, this release benefits from May 2024 recordings and masterings.
