Album Description
1. Don’t let your life pass you by is the English lyrics version of this original Brazilian Samba theme. It highlights emotions shades shared through the composer’ warm voice. No doubt that this theme composed in 2018 with its fine lyrics melody and harmonies, will be released with other tempos, arrangements & adaptations. 2. Une Flamme is a bossa nova composed in 2014. Fast and joyful, it’s arranged here in a full instrumental version with the smooth jazz colors of a Tenor Sax ,an acoustic Guitar , a double Bass, a FenderRhodes, drums & latin percussions. 3. Mamidy Bossa is a fast bossanova with a very joyful theme composed in 2012. This instruVocal version highlights emotions shades shared through the composer’ voice used as a top-line instrument with a wording directly issued from his soul. Produced with instruments set and recordings of 2012, this arrangement was HD remastered in April 2025. 4. Al my friend. Created in 2015 this original theme is a L.A. west coast Bossanova dedicated to Al Jarreau, one of American songwriter & vocalist who had and is keeping a great influence and proximity with Dimitri Gollety its composer. This track is the singing version with its English lyrics which highlights emotions shades shared through the composer’ voice. 5. My BB comes to Bossa is a theme composed in 2020, as an example of how Blues, Soul and Swing colors can marry with a Bossa Nova blend. With a smooth & joyful tempo this studio recording version is arranged for a 6tet instrumental version with the cool jazz colors of a Tenor Sax, a Trombone, an acoustic Grand Piano, Hammond Organ, a double Bass, and latin percussions. 6. Ce n’est pas le moment de. This Bossa nova theme alternates nostalgic and hopeful emotions. With a tonic & joyful tempo this studio instrumental version is arranged for a 4tet section with the warm jazz colors of a Tenor Sax, a Fender Rhodes (model E !), a double Bass, & several latin percussions. No doubt that this theme also will have vocal adaptations, with/without lyrics, and arrangements at different tempos. 7. Le temps viendra. This instrumental tune suggests romantics scenes on the beach, and more largely evokes Brazilian and Caribbean landscapes charms. It’s performed here with a smooth Jazz arrangement and a sax on the melody. 8. Paloma Brasila. Composed before 2011, this bossa nova tune sounds like a dove's flight over our soul. Al my friend (Instrumental), is the full instrumental version where Tenor sax is playing on verses & chorus parts as well as bridges and coda sections, alongside the Fender Rhodes, Acoustic guitar, bass, drums and latin percussions. 11. Don’t let your life pass you by (InstruVocal), is the version with a Tenor sax playing on verse & chorus parts, and instruvocal solos on bridge & coda sections, alongside the Fender Rhodes, Acoustic guitar, bass, drums and latin percussions.
