Album Description

Everybody's Here, is a jazz collection of "not-so-standard standards," original songs, and forgotten compositions by her grandfather, Alex Barris. The album features a mix of classic jazz, dark singer-songwriter covers, and vintage-sounding originals, recorded with her sextet in Toronto and partially as a duo with pianist Mark Kieswetter in New York's Nola Recording Studios. The album's title comes from the experience of recording at Nola, a historic studio where her grandfather had previously recorded.
