Espirito: A Brazilian Music Fantasy is a celebrated independent jazz and world music fusion album created by the veteran husband-and-wife composing and production duo Steve Adorno and Lori Rose Adorno. Released in late 2025, the album serves as an affectionate, original musical homage to classic Brazilian sounds and the legendary artists who defined them.
Musical Style and Vision
The project blends traditional Samba and Bossa Nova rhythms with contemporary jazz, R&B, and "urban funk" textures. The album was conceptualized while the couple was traveling in Italy and tuning in to Connect Brazil's streaming station. It heavily channels the artistic spirits of Brazilian icons like:
