ABOUT THE ALBUM
After Hours on Phila Street features six original
acoustic jazz fusion compositions shaped by
memorable melodies, improvisation, and
contemporary fusion influences.
The music was inspired by some of Lamb's most
meaningful relationships and life events. “Heavens to
Betsy” and “For Pete's Sake” honor his beloved late
siblings, Bets and Pete.
The title refers to Phila Street in Saratoga Springs,
home of Caffè Lena, where Lamb has presented the
monthly Jazz at Caffè Lena series for nearly nine years.
The album also honors his dear friend and series co-
founder, the late producer and engineer Joel Moss.
