The Dawn of DIG

The Dawn of DIG: The Dawn of DIG
All About Jazz has been a pioneer in the jazz world since MCMXCV. We love being the first to try new things and we're long known for adopting emerging technologies. From being the first and only jazz website with a theme song to now, being the first jazz website to use AI. Thanks to AAJ's Scott Lichtman, we've found the perfect application for our AI buddy, DIG 9000. This clever chatbot, powered by Chetty (see below) will answer questions, suggest links, and be my tech and customer support sidekick. I'm excited about it as it means I can focus more on the "chief" and "cook" responsibilities and leave the "bottlewasher" duties to DIG.

The chatbot button appears in the lower right corner of every All About Jazz page. Depending on your screen size and geolocation you may find that our advertising partner's anchor ad slightly obstructs the button. If that's the case, simply close the ad by clicking "x." You can also consider making a modest donation to All About Jazz. When you do, we'll hide all Google ads which vastly improves your experience and supports AAJ in the process.

Meet The Brain Behind DIG 9000

Michal Stoklasa is a talented developer and entrepreneur from Prague with a rich background in IT and AI. After launching Backuptor.com, Michal's fascination with AI led him to create Chetty, an impressive chatbot platform. Michal is genuinely excited about Chetty's role in enhancing the All About Jazz experience. As he shared, "It's a real honor for me, not just because of the product itself, but as a musician, I'm thrilled to contribute to the world's most important jazz music website." When he's not working on Chetty, Michal tours Europe as the guitarist for Hand Grenade, a Czech metal band. :-)

Call to contributors, an update

We were absolutely thrilled by the incredible response to our "Writers and Content Wanted" notice in last week's newsletter. If you didn't catch it, check out the details here. The great news is we've already welcomed some fantastic new writers onboard and even published a few pieces. We received a whopping 70 inquiries and if you're one of them, rest assured, we'll get back to you in time as onboarding new staffers takes time. We're also working on connecting with more podcast and radio hosts, so please stay tuned for updates.
