Tomasz Białowolski

Born: June 22, 1990

Jazz pianist, accompanist, and educator from Zamość, where he received formal music training from the elementary through secondary levels. He later graduated from the Henryk Majewski Jazz School in Warsaw (jazz piano with Wojciech Majewski) and the Academy of Music in Kraków (jazz piano with Joachim Mencel).

His improvisational language grows out of bebop, disciplined sound, and a love of lyrical phrasing and tradition. Over the years it has been shaped by collaborations with many artists and ensembles: Białowolski / Szwugier / Skrzyński, Paulski / Białowolski Quartet (Pick Yourself Up, 2019), the project To Muniak With Love (To Muniak With Love, 2019), New Brand Quintet (New Brand Quintet, 2021); currently the Tomasz Białowolski Trio and a duo with vocalist Judyta Pisarczyk. He has also performed alongside Janusz Muniak, Leszek Żądło, Lora Szafran, Marian Pawlik, Marcin Ślusarczyk, and Basia Stępniak‑Wilk.
