Pau viguer

Born:

Pau Viguer, a pianist and jazz composer born in Valencia, began studying piano at the age of 7. He obtained the superior degree of piano in the Superior Conservatory of Valencia. He studied classical music getting top marks and jazz with pianists Ricardo Belda, Donato Marot and John Serry. He has also taken courses with Xavi Folch, Ximo Tébar, Robert Rodríguez, Jorge Pardo, etc. He has belonged to numerous modern music groups, such as Fernando Poo, Mala Fama, Controversia or Brooklyn, winning various awards in the Valencian Community. He toured Spain with the group "Revolver". He currently performs concerts with the group So Cuban, Elena Martín Trío and leads the group Pau Viguer Trío, a formation that includes songs composed by himself, and has released four recordings. He composes music for various record labels and other artists. He is also an accompanist pianist for various singers and instrumentalists of pop, jazz, funk, soul, etc. He currently works as a specialist teacher of music in Primary Education while teaching classical and modern piano and continues to compose and perform live concerts.

Iago Fernández

Born:

Iago Fernández is a jazz drummer and composer from Cangas, Galicia (1987). He started his musical studies on classic percussion at the conservatory of his home town with the teacher Luís Carballo. His first contact with jazz was in the "Orquestra de jazz do Morrazo" (conducted by Luís Carballo) and also in the “Seminario Permanente de Jazz de Pontevedra (SPJP)” conducted by Abe Rábade and Paco Charlín, studying there for four years including master classes and concerts with international artists. In 2011 he was graduated with honors in the “Centro Superior de Música del País Vasco, Musikene” (jazz drums performance) where he took lessons from great masters such as Jorge Rossy, Perico Sambeat, Jo Krause, Albert Sanz, Guillermo Klein and Chris Kase among others. In 2018 he was selected for the prestigious Focusyear program (Jazzcampus Basel, Switzerland), were he rehearsed, learned and performed with other 6 musicians plus many incredible artists such as Norma Winston, Dave Liebman, Ambrose Akinmusire, Wolfgang Muthspiel and Guillermo Klein among others. Iago is currently based in Basel, where he has also graduated from a master's degree in jazz composition.

Manolo Pereira

Born in Seville. Since the beginning of his adolescence he has felt a great interest in music and the guitar in particular, which makes him begin in the world of the six strings and start playing in rock groups. Recordings and live performances that led to the composition and recording of some headers for TV programs.

From the discovery of jazz, his interest and continuous training in the Conservatory of Seville and the Musicians Workshop of Madrid in temporary stays in the capital of Madrid. At the same time, he is part of popular music groups that travel around Andalusia.

After studying with the master Fran Mazuelos is when his vision of music, jazz, harmony and creativity takes another dimension and his musical and personal north turn 180 degrees.
