Simone Pormes begon haar carrière als veelgevraagd studiozangeres en componeerde op jonge leeftijd de titelsong van de speelfilm "Angie." Als achtergrondzangeres werkte zij o.a. samen met Trijntje Oosterhuis, Marco Borsato, Berget Lewis en het Metropole Orkest. Zij maakt verschillende CD's waaronder ook met eigen werk en gastsolist Toots Thielemans. Simone heeft twee solo-albums op haar naam staan en is de initiator van het Princess Project.
