Ad Colen
Ad is a personality in the Dutch jazzscene with his interpretator, compositions and his unique sound on the tenor and sopranosaxophone. Colen was born on July 12th 1961 in Geleen, Holland. In his formative years he played a variety of instruments, concentrating on the guitar for several years, before discovering his everlasting love: the saxophone. In 1990 he graduated from the Hilversum Conservatorium as a jazz musician, under the tuition of Adri van Velzen, Albert Beltman and Ferdinand Povel. Later on he went to New York to study with Dick Oatts. His talent was already in demand in the professional arena. It was Colen’s versatility that attracted attention

Laurent Bass
A native of Philadelphia, saxophonist, clarinetist and educator LB Laurent Bass has an extensive background in Jazz, Latin, Classical and World Music. He received his M.Ed. from Harvard University and B.A. from Temple University. Presently, Laurent is Adjunct Professor at Penn State University. He studied clarinet extensively with composer, clarinetist and saxophonist Norman David, currently Adjunct Associate Professor and member of the Composition & Theory Dept. at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. LB is recognized in the Philadelphia area in the entertainment and special events industry for his solo band LB Jazz +One in which he plays live as a single multi-instrumentalist with the accompaniment of his Synchronized Automatic Melody (SAM) backup band

Johannes Ludwig is a young saxophone player of a new Generation in German Jazz. In 2011 he graduated from the HfM Nuremberg „summa cum laude“ where he has studied with Hubert Winter, Klaus Graf and Steffen Schorn. Born 1988, he picked up the saxophone at age 9 and later added flute and clarinet to his portfolio. From 2004 to 2007, he was a member of the Youth Jazz Orchestra of he state Baden Württemberg, and from 2008 until 2010 he was a member of the German Youth Jazz Orchestra (BuJazzO) which took him on tours to South Africa and India. He regularly performs with the renowned Sunday Night Orchestra and pushes the envelope with his own emerging projects Jean Quadrat und the Ludwig Quartett and Quintett

Jens Persson is a alto sax player and composer from Malmö Sweden. Jens is involved in many different musical contexts, he plays traditional big band music, free jazz and everything in between. He is the bandleader and creative mind behind Perssons Sexa (perssonssexa.com), a sextet playing his original music and also 1/4 responsible for the Malmö based quartet Makross. Rocco John Iacovone
Rocco John Iacovone Biography Composer/Saxophones/Piano Rocco John Iacovone studied privately with Lee Konitz. He holds a BA and Master’s degree in Composition from Hunter College where he studied classical music under the direct disciples of Nadia Boulanger. To round out his education, he went on to study and perform under the direction of Sam Rivers’ Orchestral Explorations at the Studio Rivbea in NYC. Rocco has been actively involved in composing, performing, and teaching ever since. Presently, in addition to composing and performing events with his arts group, The Coalition of Creative Artists (COCA), Rocco John plays regularly in NYC with the Rocco John Group

Fabrice Alleman
«Fabrice Alleman and that voice of the soul that touches you straight to the heart» Fabrice Alleman was born in Mons in 1967. He was very young when he started taking clarinet lessons at the Music school and was 13 when he recorded his first 45 LP « El Berdelleu ". He slowly shifted to jazz with a first guide : the trombone player Jean-Pol Danhier. He was 18 when he entered the Royal Conservatoire of Mons and 2 years later obtained his 1st prize in clarinet, and 1st prize in chamber music. During his 2 years of military service which he spent as musician, he played in the Big Bands of the largest Wallonian cities, chamber orchestras, blues bands, and attended his first jams with Robert Jeanne, Jean-Pol Dahnier and Pirly Zurstrassen. He gradually replaced the clarinet by the saxophone and thanks to Richard Rousselet he participated to the « Lundis d’Hortense » training week in 1990 attended also by the American saxophone player Tim Ries
