Jon De Lucia is a Brooklyn based saxophonist and composer. Originally from Quincy, MA, Jon has become an integral part of the New York scene. Predominantly a student of jazz, he also has a deep interest in the folkloric music and instruments of Cuba, Japan, Ireland and Italy, having performed on a variety of ethnic flutes, drums and stringed instruments. Jon has led his groups and played as a sideman in Boston, New York and all over Japan with such musicians as Tommy Crane, David Tronzo, Bob Moses, Bob Gullotti, John Lockwood and Thomas Morgan among others. He leads the Jon De Lucia Group, and the baroque improvising Luce Trio

I was born in 1945 in Columbus, Ohio, the first child of a young pair of "Swing Kids". The radio and 78 rpm phonograph played big band instrumentals and vocals constantly. As an infant I was as familiar with Miller, Goodman, Shaw, Dorsey, Basie, Ellington and The Andrews Sisters as I was with our four room OSU campus area apartment. At age 10 I rented a metal clarinet from a local shop and started the life- long addiction to music. At 12 I began lessons on the clarinet with David Hite. With his own projects "Spherical" and "Hittin' Hard", he continues to display his vision of playing and creating new music for the present age based on jazz tradition

Jaleel Shaw

Raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Shaw attended Greene Street Friends School, the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts and graduated from George Washington High School. He studied with saxophonist Rayburn Wright, Robert Landham, and jazz instructor Lovette Hines, whose students have included Christian McBride and Joey Defrancesco. His many mentors in Philadelphia, including John Blake, Byard Lancaster, Alfie Pollit, and Grover Washington Jr. 

Shaw received a dual degree in Music Education and Performance in 2000 from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. He subsequently attended the Manhattan School of Music in New York City, from which he received a master's degree in Jazz Performance in May 2002. He was a finalist in the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Saxophone Competition that year. In 2008, he was awarded ASCAP's 2008 Young Jazz Composer Award.

Darryl Reeves

Darryl Reeves was born in Jackson, MS to a musical family. He grew up in Miami, and quickly adopted the alto saxophone as his instrument. Moved by hip-hop samples originating from jazz, Reeves was led to being influenced by Charlie Parker and John Coltrane. Reeves graduated from Jackson State University with a Bachelors in Music Education, and subsequently released The Activator (2002), a straight-up gem that solidified his place as an emerging player. Reeves then completed his Masters of Music at the University of New Orleans. In 2004, Reeves released the funky and playful Diary of a Bandstand, to ample acclaim
