While no one in his family played an instrument both his mother and father would sing in church and at weddings giving him his first musical exposure. Brian received both his Bachelors and Masters degree from the University of North Texas (UNT) where he studied saxophone under the direction of Jim Riggs and Eric Nestler. While at UNT he had a chance to study under Lynn Seaton, Fred Hamilton and Stefan Karlsson. By age 8, Lloyd and His brothers were performing on a USO Tour of Southern California and it just kept going with live concerts appearance all across the Los Angeles Basin including being on the same marquee with such greats as Lena Horne and Julio Iglesias. Helge Albin

For over thirty years, Helge Albin has been working hard to turn the the small Swedish city of Malmo into an international destination for the best in forward-thinking jazz music. And he has a lot to show for it—The Tolvan Big Band, an 18-member ensemble dedicated to performing new music by Albin and others has toured in Europe, Australia and South America, and worked with jazz masters Dizzy Gillespie, Dave Liebman, and Michael Brecker, among many others.

The ensemble has released twelve recordings, four of them featuring Albin’s music. All About Jazz said the most recent album of Albin’s music, Effortlessly, released in 2013 by the Swedish label Kopasetic, tells a “nuanced story full of twists and suspense” through the intricate details of the compositions

Dimitris Tsakas studied under scholarship at Berklee College of Music with masters such as Andy Mc Gee, Jerry Bergonzi, George Garzone and Steve Wilson.He has taken part in a lot of record productions and live performances by many Greek and foreign artists in venues such as  the closing ceremony for the Olympic Games in 2004, as well as some of the top musicians in the Greek jazz scene.

Dimitris is the most recorded saxophonist in the Greek scene for the last two decades, featured in over than 200 albums across all genres.

During the same period he has been a long term collaborator with some of the most established artists in Greece such as  Eleftheria Arvanitaki ,Charis Alexiou , Demis Roussos and Maria Farantouri.

It all started in Beaumont, TX. Joe and John Beaty were born into that East Texas heat and humidity. It took a few years and a few bumps in the road, but the Beaty Boys found their calling, they found their instruments. They both took to practicing 8 hours a day. The brothers knew they wanted to end up in New York City and they had the perfect pit stop. Both Beaty Brothers were accepted with scholarship to Interlochen Arts Academy. The brothers now had the opportunity they needed to ensure their ticket to New York. They could practice a staggering twelve hours a day. Sharing, mentoring, and teaching one other the Beatys soaked up the worlds of classical music, dance, poetry, art, and theater. In mid-August of 2001, the brothers fulfilled their goal of making it to New York City
