Jacob Duncan

Jacob Duncan’s musical path has been a fascinating one, consistently balancing a spiritual, intuitive inclination with a keen, educated intelligence. Band leader, composer, arranger and force of nature saxophonist, Duncan’s ensemble playing is as empathetically assured as his soloing is riskily rewarding. Beginning on alto sax at age eleven, the Louisville, Kentucky native soon distinguished himself as the kid who could play. He graduated from the prestigious Interlochen Arts Academy, played lead alto in the Yamaha Big Band in high school, and won a music scholarship to the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas, where he was a member of the world-renowned One O’Clock Lab Band, Little Jack Melody and his Young Turks, and other stimulating outlets, including his own Liberation Prophecy. After graduation and reading “way too much beat literature,” Duncan flew to Lisbon on a one-way ticket with alto in tow, $500, and very little else

A native of the musical mecca that is Memphis, TN, Marqué grew up listening to the sounds of Kirk Franklin and Yolanda Adams and developed his distinctive style through his early exposure to gospel music. He then learned to manipulate those sounds to make them a soulful expression of his inner self. Gavin Templeton

Gavin Templeton is a Los Angeles based saxophonist, woodwind player, composer and educator. Gavin spent his formative years in Reno, Nevada. He began studying classical violin at five years old, but switched to the alto saxophone a few years later. His saxophone teacher introduced him to the music of Charlie Parker, which deeply affected him. Gavin felt an instant affinity with bebop music. He memorized Parker tunes and performed them for friends, family, and at his saxophone teacher’s gigs when he would be invited up to the bandstand. Gavin's professional career began in his teens

Michael Mull

Born: June 7, 1986

Saxophonist, woodwind player, composer, and arranger Michael Mull opens ears wherever he brings his music. Holding a Master's Degree in Music from the notorious California Institute of the Arts, Michael received his undergraduate training at Cuesta College and CSU Northridge, and has studied under such great improvisers and composers as James Miley, George Stone, Matt Harris, Liviu Marinescu, Larry Koonse, Joe LaBarbera and Rob Lockart. Michael has developed a sound and style of his own that permeates both his playing and writing, drawing from a diverse pool of influences. Michael has written for small jazz ensembles of varying sizes, big band, string trio, trumpet quartet, trombone quartet, avant-garde ensembles, and several solo and chamber pieces

Alexandra Lehmler

When Alexandra Lehmler is calling one of her albums  "Jazz, Baby!" there is good reason behind it: music in general and jazz in particular are constants in her life.

Born in 1979 in Bad Ems (Lahn) the saxophonist, who is living in Mannheim since many years, knew very soon where her path should lead. It started with her time in the Landesmusikgymnasium (grammar school with focus on music) Rheinland Pfalz. Studies at the conservatoire in Mannheim followed, which Lehmler completed with a straight grade A. This success was crowned by a semester abroad in Paris, which she performed within the scope of her postgraduate studies at the conservatoire in Stuttgart.

Stot Juru

Born: June 25, 1990

Now at the age of 21, Stot Juru has been composing, producing, and perfecting music for over a decade. The saxophone being his choice for creating his first solo album (Universal Saxifications 2012), Stot Juru also produce the music for every track on the album. He comes from a large family full of artist and creativity. While being the youngest of nine children, Stot Juru has had many influences on his artistic ability growing up. His music has been heard in many locations, and has had many compliments given when listeners ask if its "Kenny G." One of Stot Juru's goal within music is to one day compose a score for a big screen movie, and receiving an invite to play the national anthem at a major sporting event.

Tom Harrison

For alto saxophonist/composer Tom Harrison, the art of jazz is far more than mastery of the instrument, fluency in the repertoire and respect for the tradition. For Tom, the real undertaking is to connect with that which inspired the immortals of jazz, and to cultivate it within his own work. "While the masters represent an extraordinary level of accomplishment, the inspiration they provide me is the pursuit not just of their greatness but of the essence of that greatness. This is what fuels my passion." More than drawing inspiration from those giants, Tom is also making a serious commitment to jazz expression through his collaborations with living artists who are strongly connected to the heritage of jazz

Yuichiro Tokuda

Born: March 9, 1981

After studying at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, He returned to Japan and formed his band "Yuichiro Tokuda RALYZZDIG", and released his first album which was acclaimed as "the cutting edge of the present progressive form of jazz" in Jazz Life magazine. In 2008, He received an award as the "New Face of the Year in Art & Culture" from the Chiba-City Government, the first time ever for a jazz artist. Every year he performs at many festivals in all over the world. From 2011 to present, He & his band has more than 50 stages experience in all over the world. His original songs received "Finalist" & "Honorable Mention Award” in International Songwriting Competition 2010, 2012 & 2013 Jazz Category.
