It was through his classical music background that Benjamin Deschamps discovered jazz to finally make it his own. Although he cumulates artistic mediums (he is a flutist, clarinetist and arranger), it is his talents as a saxophonist and composer that have put him in the spotlight. His gregarious spirit led him to collaborate with several ensembles such as the Rachel Therrien Quintet, Odd Lot (Jacques Kuba Séguin), the Joe Sullivan Big Band, the Orchestre national de jazz de Montréal and JazzLab Orchestra (Effendi) before diving headfirst into his own projects. From trio to sextet, he plays with variable ensemble sizes to give the most fitting touch to each work.

Yoosun Nam

Yoo Sun Nam is an up­ and­coming alto saxophonist and composer from South Korea. At a young age, she was very intrigued by many different styles of music including classical, Korean traditional, pop and funk. She began to study classical piano and voice at the age nine, eventually winning multiple vocal competitions in South Korea. She started to listen to jazz in high school and learned that it was the only genre of music that had unlimited freedom. Considering her love of jazz, it was obvious that she chose to play the saxophone. At the age of 19, when she picked up the instrument, she was studying computer science at Seoul National Women’s University

Charlie Arbelaez

Alto Saxophonist Charlie Arbelaez resides in San Diego, CA after honorably serving his country as a United States Marine. Charlie has extensively toured throughout the nation performing with many world class musicians. His performance verifies a high level of dedication to his art while dispersing an incredible amount of infectious energy. He leads several bands of different styles which appeal to a large spectrum of audiences. He currently holds a bachelor's degree in Jazz Performance from State University of New York at Purchase. Fabio Delvo' is an “open mind” musician involved in differents projects based on modern jazz, contemporary conceptions till avantgarde, and sometimes too experimental approach to improvvisation. He's in the TOP JAZZ list 2012 and 2013, for the new italians best talent, according the prestigious review “Musica Jazz”. He was born in Varese, close to Milan, on 31 October 1971. He started classical music studies c/o musical Lyceum of Varese, then he graduated for jazz functional harmony in Milan and then in several stages with great musicians like Steve Lacy, Joe Zawinul, Gary Burton, Johnny Griffin, Bruce Gertz, Giovanni Tommaso, Claudio Fasoli. He completed Berklee summer school during Umbria Jazz Festival '95, he was a member of rappresentative combo during harmony Stages of Maestro Giovanni Tommaso in C.E.M.M

Matthew D. Clayton, II

Dr. Matthew D. Clayton, II, a Philadelphia area native, has played the saxophone for more than 20 years and is a music scholar, teacher, composer and performer. Some of the highlights of his various performances include shows at Carnegie Hall, famed New York jazz clubs the Village Vanguard and Birdland as a member of the National Grammy All Star High School Jazz Band, the Academy of Music, performing for Grover Washington, Jr., gigs with the late legendary Count Basie trombonist Al Grey, and appearing as a featured performer for a winter jazz festival in Paris, France. Dan Kusz

Danny Kusz – named “one of the hippest jazz cats in Minneapolis” by Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine while in his early 20s, had the good fortune of recording his debut EP Lost In The Groove with renowned Twin Cities keyboardist Ricky Peterson, best known as David Sanborn’s musical director for 30 years. The project scored some local airplay and earned the multi-talented horn player numerous accolades, including two L.A.
