As a native to London I have been exposed to various forms of music from an early age. At seven years of age I started playing classical piano. Just before moving to high school I began to play the alto saxophone. In my first year of high school I was lucky enough to be asked to join the school Jazz band where I toured England, Prague and performed at many venues in London. As well as performing in my school band I was also part of the Kingston youth big band, which I also toured with on many occasions including Germany and Italy where I played in the Barga Jazz festival. Alongside this, I was being tutored by renowned saxophonist, Mornington Lockett

Alexa Tarantino is an award-winning, vibrant, young jazz saxophonist, woodwind doubler, composer, and educator. Alexa’s “lovely, ardent way of improvising,” and “sharply plotted but gracefully unencumbered straight-ahead jazz [compositions]” (Giovanni Russonello, The New York Times) establish her individual voice which shines through as a dynamic performer and educator. Tarantino was recently named one of the “Top 5 Alto Saxophonists of 2019” by the JazzTimes Critics’ Poll. Her debut album, Winds of Change, peaked at #15 on the JazzWeek Charts and landed at #79 for JazzWeek’s Top 100 records of 2019. Tarantino’s performance highlights include prestigious venues such as Jazz in Marciac Festival (with Wynton Marsalis and the Young Stars of Jazz), Umbria Jazz Festival (with Ryan Truesdell’s Gil Evans Project), the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, the Hollywood Bowl (with Sherrie Maricle & the DIVA Jazz Orchestra), the Rockport Jazz Festival (Alexa Tarantino Quintet), Rose Theater at Jazz at Lincoln Center and the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts (with Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra), and the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival (with LSAT, Earth, Wind & Fire and others)

Lewis Jordan : : saxophones and poetry He is an international touring and recording musician and poet. His teachers are the streets: the music and poetry of Ayler, Coleman, Shepp, the Art Ensemble of Chicago; the thoughts and spirit of Krishnamurti, Rumi, Csikszentmihalyi. He brings the transformative nature of human collaboration to all his projects. He has focused on creative structures for improvisation, which leads to his work with artists from a range of practice: dance, poetry, theater and visual arts, many of whom he has presented in his Music at Large series. He continues to produce interdisciplinary and multicultural productions and to seek out performers who strive for modes of expression that honor their traditions while speaking to the urgency of the present.

Robert Rawlins is Professor of Music Theory at Rowan University, where he has taught for 20 years. He received his Ph.D. in Musicology from Rutgers University. Rawlins is the author of six books, including Jazzology, The Real Dixieland Book, and the revised 50th anniversary of Alec Wilder's American Popular Song. Rawlins has published more than 100 articles in dozens of journals, including Downbeat, Jazz Educator's Journal, American Music, Popular Music and Society, and The Journal of Popular Culture. In addition, he has written liner and program notes for dozens of CDs and concerts.Robert plays the clarinet, saxophone, and flute and has been a professional musician his entire life

His career is reflecting the history of rapid economic and social changes in Poland in last 20 years. In last days of communism (80ties) he took part in vivid and rebellious Polish rock scene being member of such a significant bands as Róże Europy, Sztywny Pal Azji or Oczy Amelki. At he same time he studied musicology in Music Academy in Warsaw and his interests began to move towards more ambitious forms of music, especially the improvisation. That made him interested as much in jazz as in modern classical music. Dimitar Liolev (7/01/1973) is a second generation professional musician. He is the son of Kostadin Liolev - an accordeonist, classical clarinetist, composer and arranger of Bulgarian folk music. Dimitar began studying music at age of five, and saxophone – at age sixteen. He is a graduate of both the Secondary Music School and the Academy of Music in Plovdiv, with piano and fagotto as his majors. His first professional experience followed over a ten year period of working as a musician in pubs, restaurants and wedding celebretaions, performing Bulgarian, Serbian, Turkish and Greek folk music, together with popular music and jazz. 2000: Dimitar became a member of the young folk-fusion band “Brainstorm”

Fabio Delvo' is an "open mind" musician involved in differents projects based on modern jazz, contemporary conceptions till avantgarde, and sometimes too experimental approach to improvvisation. He's in the TOP JAZZ list 2012 and 2013, for the new italians best talent, according the prestigious review "Musica Jazz". He was born in Varese, close to Milan, on 31 October 1971. He started classical music studies c/o musical Lyceum of Varese, then he graduated for jazz functional harmony in Milan and then in several stages with great musicians like Steve Lacy, Joe Zawinul, Gary Burton, Johnny Griffin, Bruce Gertz, Giovanni Tommaso, Claudio Fasoli. He completed Berklee summer school during Umbria Jazz Festival '95, he was a member of rappresentative combo during harmony Stages of Maestro Giovanni Tommaso in C.E.M.M

David Zakarian is an Alto Saxophonist, composer and improviser from Yerevan Armenia. A honours Bachelors graduate from the Yerevan State Conservatory, he combines Armenian musical perspectives with contemporary improvised music, presenting an inspired and personal approach. While studying in Armenia, David occupied the first alto chair and soloist for the Pop-Symphony Orchestra and Big Band of the Public Television and Radio of Armenia, under the direction of maestro Yervand Yerznkyan with notable performances at the opening of the “Golden Apricot Film Festival,” “International National Jazz Day” music festival, and numerous concerts for Armenian troops in service (Yerevan, Armenia)
