Elias Stemeseder

Born in Salzburg, Austria in 1990, Elias lived in Berlin from 2010 and moved to New York in 2015. Besides his main instrument, the acoustic piano, he also plays synthesizers. He performs in a variety of musical idioms ranging from the song-oriented music of Jim Black's trio to contemporary classical pieces by John Zorn to the electric music of Eyebone.
Current projects include collaborations with John Zorn (John Zorn's Bagatelles), the Greg Cohen Quintet, Philipp Gropper's "Philm", Jim Black's "Malamute" Anna Webber's "Percussive Mechanics", Robert Landfermann Quintet and "OTIS+WEDDING".

Joseph L Cartwright

Pianist Joe Cartwright makes his home in Mission, Kansas and is recognized as a proponent of ‘Kansas City Jazz.’ He is a graduate of the UMKC Conservatory of Music and is currently the musical director for the critically acclaimed NPR radio show '12th Street Jump.' Joe has performed on and produced numerous recordings. Some of his credits include work with jazz luminaries Eddie Harris, Christian McBride, Jeff Hamilton, John Clayton, Karrin Allyson, Jimmy Witherspoon, Kevin Mahogany and Mel Torme. Cartwright has performed for audiences in Africa, the Middle East, India, and Southeast Asia as part of the USIA/Kennedy Center Jazz Ambassador Touring Program

Fabrizio Puglisi

Fabrizio Puglisi is a pianist and composer. In 1987 he began studying at DAMS (Department of Art, Music and Performing Arts) in Bologna, where he currently lives. In 1995 he graduated with honors, writing a thesis about Cecil Taylor. From 1997 to 2003 he spent long periods of time in Amsterdam, where he collaborated with such musicians as Tristan Honsinger, Han Bennink, Ernst Glerum, Ab Baars, Sean Bergin, Ernst Reijseger, Tobias Delius, and the Tetzepi big band. Mircea Tiberian

Mircea Tiberian is a jazz musician and professor of music at the National University of Music in Bucharest. He coordinates the Jazz Department, which he set up in 1991. Tiberian spent his childhood and adolescence in Sibiu, Transylvania where he made his debut at the International Jazz Festival in 1974. He holds a doctorate in music. He currently lives in Bucharest. He has performed the world over with such musicians as Larry Coryell, Tomasz Stanko, Herb Robertson, John Betsch, Ed Shuller, Nicholas Simion, Adam Pieronczyk, Maurice de Martin, Theo Jörgensmann and the Romanians Johnny Raducanu, Aura Urziceanu, Anca Parghel and Dan Mandrila.

Rob Stringer

Rob Stringer started playing on the North West Jazz scene around 2004, after studying music at University in Liverpool. He took lessons with highly regarded UK jazz pianist Les Chisnall and also studied piano technique in New York with Eleanor Hancock of the Taubman Institute. Rob currently tours extensively across Europe and North America, with ‘Brit Floyd’, a Pink Floyd stage production. He also has his own jazz group, the Bobby Swing Band, in which he sings and plays piano, and in which the other members of The Weave have performed. He has done much session studio and live work and appearances include Later with Jools Holland, BBC Radio 2 Jonathan Ross and Mark Lamarr shows. A real highlight for Rob was performing at Stella McCartney’s 08 Fashion Show to an audience including Sir Paul McCartney, Yoko Ono, Olivia Harrison and Sir George Martin all seated in the front row!
