John Proulx

Jeremy Siskind
Pianist, composer, and educator Jeremy Siskind is “a remarkable pianist” and “a rising star on the jazz scene” according to legendary pianist Marian McPartland. Siskind, from Irvine, California, began playing the piano at a very young age. By his early teens, he was performing original compositions all over the country through Yamaha’s Junior Original Concert program; twice, Siskind was even flown to Tokyo, Japan to represent the United States in front of Japanese audiences. Claire Ritter
Born:
American jazz master, composer/pianist/educator Claire Ritter, is a multiple award recipient, and "among the most successful Thirdsteam synthesis of jazz & classical musics" author Ed Hazel/Wikipedia Encyclopedia. In 2014 Ritter was the recipient of an artist grant awarded by the NC Arts & Science Council, her fourth, as well as a previous NC Arts Council Composer Fellowship recipient. AllAboutJazz describes Ritter as "an under sung Master, with each engaging melody buffed up like a little jewel". JazzTimes notes the music as "painterly exquisite & poetic". Beginning with the great Mary Lou Williams at Duke University in the 1970s, Ritter has studied, worked, performed, and recorded with the best, which includes over a decade and half of work with MacArthur Grant 'Genius' Fellow, Ran Blake at New England Conservatory in Boston, where she taught her Contemporary Songwriting in the Contemporary Improvisation Department during the 1990s

Alessandro D'Episcopo

Alessandro d’Episcopo was born in Naples. Italy. Already at the age of 13, he decided to devote his life to music and to become a jazz musician. He studied classical music at the Conservatory of San Pietro a Majella in Naples. In 1979, he moved to Milano, which was the heart of the Italian jazz at that time. Chick Corea and Keith Jarrett have influenced d’Episcopo formation since his earliest youth as vivid examples for musical diversity and curiosity. Marcin Masecki
Marcin Masecki has become one of the most creative and original musicians of the new generation, recording and performing as a member of a jazz ensemble, but also as a performer of avant-garde and pop music. He has founded and co-founded a number of successful musical projects and groups over the first decade of the 21st Century. Pianist/composer/educator Lee Tomboulian has performed on piano, accordion, and keyboards with noted jazz artists Airto, Nat Adderley, Doc Cheatham, Larry Coryell, Jack DeJohnette, Herb Ellis, Eddie Harris, Marc Johnson, Sheila Jordan, Dick Oatts, Bucky Pizzarelli, Pharoah Sanders, and Steve Swallow. He was also a member of the world-famous University of North Texas One O'Clock Lab Band and is a founding member of the Brazilian and Uruguayan ensemble Circo.
Mr. Tomboulian teaches jazz improvisation, jazz small group performance practice, applied jazz piano, and more.
