Paulinho Vicente

Born: March 21, 1986

Brazilian drummer Paulinho Vicente has been developing his musical career for many years, establishing himself as both a performer and researcher in the instrumental music scene. His academic training at Unicamp — where he completed his undergraduate degree in 2020, his Master’s in 2024, and is currently pursuing a PhD — complements and deepens an already ongoing artistic trajectory, expanding his creative and academic investigations.

Throughout his career, he has performed alongside major figures in Brazilian instrumental music such as Toninho Horta, Yuri Popoff, Claudio Roditti, João Bosco, Maestro Spok, Lito Robledo, Alexandre Mihanovich, Wilson Teixeira, Filó Machado, Enéias Xavier, Daniel D’Alcântara, Luiz Mello, Silvia Góes, Roberto Sion, Bruno Cardozo, Michel Leme, Sizão Machado, Thiago Espírito Santo, Daniel Santiago, Michael Pipoquinha, and Mestrinho.
