Originally from Denver, Colorado, Margaret Slovak is a guitarist, composer and painter. She began playing the guitar at age 11, composing at age 14 and performing professionally at age 16. Margaret studied jazz and classical music and visual art, receiving her BFA in Jazz from the Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, Washington. She also attended the Kansas City Art Institute, University of Missouri Conservatory of Music and the Banff Centre Summer Jazz Workshop in Alberta, Canada, receiving several scholarships for her studies. Margaret’s teachers included John Abercrombie, Dale Bruning, Hadley Caliman, Jerry Granelli, Jim Knapp, Art Lande, Gary Peacock, Dave Peterson, Julian Priester, Don Thompson, Ralph Towner and Kenny Wheeler.

Pianist and composer Tal Blumstein was born and raised in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Tal started playing the piano when he was 6 years old and soon fell in love with it.
At 15, he turned to the world of Jazz and popular music out of great interest in improvisation.
In 2012, Tal decided to move to New York City to pursue his musical dream. He studies at “The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music” from which he graduated with highest honors as valedictorian.
Over the years, Tal led various groups and collaborated with top artists in Israel, Europe, and the US.

The Hutchinson Andrew Trio (HAT), is a unique voice on the Canadian Jazz Scene. Over the past 8 years this acoustic piano based trio has been bringing their own sound to the Canadian jazz landscape. Scott D Marshall
Toronto - based saxophonist, composer, producer, band leader, and educator Scott Marshall is highly sought after for his skills within the jazz community, and professional jobbing scenes of his city. A skilled composer and arranger, Scott’s compositions have been featured on five of his own releases: Dream Logic Project (2018) Nihahi Ridge (2014), Vignettes (2010), Nine Moments of Time (2007), and Face it (2002), as well as two releases by the group Out of Order: What Now (2000), and Out of Order (1997). Mick Foster
Mick Foster is a saxophonist, woodwind player and composer, and is especially known as a baritone and bass saxophonist. He studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London and has since worked extensively in the fields of jazz, commercial and classical music. He has played with many ensembles such as the big bands of John Dankworth, Stan Sulzmann and Mike Garrick, Ginger Baker’s Air Force, Swing Out Sister, The Back To Basie Orchestra, The London Philharmonic Orchestra, English National Opera and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.
Mick currently plays with his own quartet and quintet, Alan Barnes’ +11 project, Jim Rattigan’s ensemble Pavillon and is a long standing member of The London Jazz Orchestra. He also regularly works with Tony Jacobs, The Pasadena Roof Orchestra and The Syd Lawrence Orchestra. Other notable jazz musicians that Mick has worked with include Dame Cleo Laine, Jacqui Dankworth, Trudy Kerr, Mark Lockheart, Guy Barker, Laura Jurd, Digby Fairweather and the Humphrey Lyttelton Band. Mick has recorded three albums under his own name and is in demand as a session musician, having played for many film and TV soundtracks including Prometheus, Vice, Don’t Look Up and Downton Abbey.

Bidi Dworkin

Bidi Dworkin is a jazz-folk vocalist whose earliest performances were as a folk singer in coffee houses throughout New England. Intrigued by the dynamic interplay of technique and freedom which exists at the core of modern dance, she attended NYU and received her master’s degree in Dance Education, performing professionally with the Nancy Meehan Dance Company from 1980-1986.
After moving to a quiet valley in rural Vermont, she continued her movement studies, becoming a yoga instructor. Bidi has received advanced certification in New York City and India, skillfully leading classes and retreats since 1993. Especially moved by devotional song, Bidi embraces ancient Sanskrit chants as well as Hebrew melodies, and has led her community in the High Holiday morning services for over twenty-five years.

Louise Denson
Louise Denson is a pianist, composer/arranger, improviser and educator. She holds a Doctorate in Musical Arts from the Queensland Conservatorium (Brisbane) where she was a Senior Lecturer in Jazz Studies, 1999-2020. She completed her Masters in Jazz at New England Conservatory (Boston), studying with such luminaries as Paul Bley, George Russell, Bevan Manson and Joe Maneri. She has issued 7 CDs, 3 through labels and 4 independently. Nova Nova (2021) earned a 4-star review in the Weekend Australian Review, and Colours of Your Love (2018, with Ingrid James and Wild Silk Strings Project) received acclaim from around the world
