Michael Barbara

Since relocating to Sea Pines in 2012 following a 40 year career as an environmental engineering consultant, Mike has been involved with many musical projects, including the development of several jazz orchestras in the area, and co-founding the Mike Barbara Trio. He has performed in many local venues on Hilton Head Island and in Bluffton, Savannah, and Beaufort. Most recently he has been named Head of Marking for the Odyssey Music Group, Inc., as well as performing with the Odyssey Express Quartet. Mike has also worked with many top musicians in the New York/New Jersey area at a wide variety of private and corporate events, and as the principal bassist for the Rockland County (NY) Jazz Orchestra, "Reflections".
