Damian J Sanchez, biography July 19, 2016 A Miami native by way of Pinar del Rio, Cuba, Damian J Sanchez remembers the “Magic City” amidst the 1990s onslaught of Cuban refugees and enduring his teenage years in one of Miami's roughest neighborhoods, Little Havana. His musical journey commenced at the age of 12. He began by learning music theory before picking up an instrument with Jon Hamm at Citrus Grove Middle School and later guitar, piano, oboe, and saxophone from Mr. Hamm and band director, Carlos A. Sammy Figueroa

Sammy Figueroa has long been regarded as one of the world's great musicians. As one of the music's leading percussionists he has played on countless records and is well-known for his versatility in a multitude of musical styles. Besides playing with some of the world's greatest pop stars, such as David Bowie, Chaka Khan and Mariah Carey, Sammy has also played with a multitude of distinguished jazz artists including Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins, Quincy Jones, George Benson, and many, many more. Groovy, swinging, and sophisticated at the same time, versatile guitarist and composer Russ Spiegel hits all the right notes. Covering a wide variety of styles from rock and blues to funk and Latin and hard-swinging modern and post-modern jazz, Russ has been garnering rave reviews for his performances all around the world.

Russ Spiegel is a commissioned composer and arranger as well as a highly respected international guitarist, bandleader, writer, musicologist, and award-winning sound engineer. He received his undergraduate degree in philosophy from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and continued his studies at the Berklee College of Music in Boston

Louise Bleasdell

Equally mesmerizing singing Brazilian jazz , reggae, pop, rhythm and blues or classical and contemporary melodies..she can sing it all. Born in Montreal, raised in Trinidad ,and schooled in both cities, Louise has been singing since the age of four. Growing up, her home was full of jazz legends, from her father to Harry Belafonte. Louise has toured 18 countries in South and Central America during the early 1970's and was exposed early on to performing at Jazz Shows in Sao Paulo, Brazil and Bahia

Francesco Salomoni

Born: May 23, 1978

Francesco Salomoni approached flute at age 8, soon switching on guitar. During the years he spent in Cremona, Italy, he had his first classical education and became a name in the local music scene. After moving to Rome he fell in love with the trombone "my prison and my joy" he likes to say. He had a classical education on trombone attending conservatory and studying with Maurizio Persia, bass trombone of the Accademia Nazionale di S.Cecilia. Although he enjoyed very much studying with Maestro Persia, he was looking for something more, something that he found during his first experience at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA

Batie

Born: October 25, 1975

Batie is an exceptional and gifted instrumentalist, who has come to take music, as we know it, to a new level. Born in St. Augustine, Florida, Batie started playing the saxophone at the age of six. Because his father served in the US Army, the family moved often. While on tour, music became one of the few constants in his life. By the time he graduated high school in Heidelberg, Germany, Batie could play several instruments. . Batie honorably served in the US Air Force after high school. He gained serious performance experience appearing at fundraisers, political functions and military ceremonies. Batie has performed in major cities in Europe and Canada and is making a name for himself in New York, Atlanta, New Orleans and Washington D.C

Bob Davis

Born: July 26, 1927

Bob Davis was born in Cosmos, Minnesota in 1927. By the age of 18, Davis was playing improvisational jazz with some of the greats. His styles were ahead of his time. Jazz greats such as Stan Kenton & Count Basie had looked at Davis as one of the greatest jazz pianists of the time. He recorded 3 great albums. Bob Davis played & recorded with such artists as Sarah Vaughn, Al Hirt, Dizzy Gillespie... He also was musical director for Playboy Clubs, taught as a music college & high school professor,and was a promoter and agent for music giants such as the Jacksons and Tina Turner. He then continued playing jazz and ballads in concerts and clubs into his older years. He lived most of his life in Miami, Florida

I have recorded and performed extensively in Canada, the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Finland, Japan, and the U.S. with many renowned Jazz artists including Wynton Marsalis, Harry 'Sweets' Edison, Buddy DeFranco, Diana Krall, Paquito D'Rivera, Bob Berg, Dave Liebman, Woody Shaw, Sheila Jordan, Nigel Kennedy, Dena DeRose and Duffy Jackson and Blues greats Jimmy Witherspoon, Albert Collins and Eddie 'Cleanhead' Vinson. I collaborated with the great Tito Puente as arranger/keyboardist on a number of award winning Latin Jazz albums including Goza Mi Timbal a.k.a. Dig My Timbales (Grammy & American Film Institute awards 1990), Out of This World (AFIM award 1991), Mambo of the Times (AFIM award 1992) along with Master Timballero, The Billy Strayhorn Songbook and Hot Timbales
