Born: October 4, 1953

Tony was raised in a musical family (his grandfather was the noted composer Leon René and his father the drummer Rick Jones), and the piano was his first instrument. He took on the drums in high school and is primarily known on that instrument. He has been a vocalist since his teens and has chosen to illustrate that skill on this CD. Pat Kelley

Recognized for his signature touch, harmonic dexterity, bluesy melodies and sense of rhythm, guitarist Pat Kelley has enjoyed a steady and successful career in Los Angeles as a studio and touring musician, recording artist, composer, producer, arranger, vocalist, recording engineer, and educator. Douglas Lee is an accomplished performer, composer and sound artist based in Los Angeles, California. Or rather, a multidisciplinary artist primarily inquiring the world through the sounding arts. Noted primarily as an international television performer and featured soloist on the musical glasses (an instrument made of wine-glasses tuned to pitch with water and played with fingers), Lee performs mashups of heavy metal, classical and contemporary pop music in venues and live productions around Los Angeles and the world. Michael Lampert

Michael Lampert received his BA in music theory and composition from Drew University, and his Master of Music in Musicology from the New England Conservatory of Music. He has studied jazz and improvisation with Harry Leahey, John Carter, Dave Pike and Charlie Banacos; his principal instructors on the mandolin have been Ben Buccola, Andy Statman, and Robert Paul Sullivan. He has also studied classical domra with the distinguished artist Iryna Orlova. Michael has appeared in numerous clubs and concerts throughout the United States, performing with the eclectic fusion band Blue Fish, The Barbara Reed Quartet, singer/songwriter Michele Cummings and the Lenny Carlson Trio, in addition to leading his own duos, trios and quartets
