Dr. Geoffrey Dean is a jazz pianist, composer, author and educator currently performing in the Washington DC area. His music spans the entire genre of jazz – from blues and hard bop influences to classical music, R&B and modern jazz.

Geoffrey Dean currently performs and teaches in the Northern Virginia/DC region. His newest jazz quartet album "Foundations" featuring Harish Raghavan on Bass, Dr. Eric Binder on Drums, and Justin Copeland on Trumpet can be found streaming everywhere as well as on CD and vinyl. Dr. Dean has recently authored an educational book on how to play modern jazz piano titled “Kenny Kirkland’s Harmonic and Rhythmic Language: A Model For The Modern Jazz Pianist”. Dave Solazzo has been a mainstay of Central New York's music scene for over two decades. Much in demand as a soloist and sideman, Dave has worked with artists from a wide mix of genres - jazz, fusion, R&B and beyond. He has performed and recorded with major jazz figures like Chuck Mangione, Larry Coryell, Joel Frahm, Dick Oatts, Jerry Weldon and Joe Magnarelli at venues like The Flatiron Room (NYC), Troy Music Hall, the Savannah Jazz Festival and the Syracuse Jazz Fest.

In addition to his work as a sideman, Dave leads his own trio, playing modern interpretations of jazz standards and original compositions in the spirit of Oscar Peterson, Keith Jarrett and Brad Mehldau.

Dave was educated at Berklee College of Music and SUNY Purchase College

Milan Verbist

At an early age, Milan was introduced to jazz music through his parents. As early as the age of five, Milan started playing the accordion. Around the age of seven, he made the switch to the instrument still closest to his heart, the piano. He studied at the MaGo Academy with classical pianists Arthur Vuye and Nicolas Callot. In 2016, he decided to study at De! Kunsthumaniora in Antwerp to continue his secondary studies, with Jazz Piano as his main instrument. Ewout Pierreux became his teacher for two years. During his time at this school, he started playing in a band and began giving concerts. After graduating from De! Kunsthumaniora, he was admitted to the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp with Erik Vermeulen as principal study teacher. During his time at the conservatory, he had the opportunity to take lessons and masterclasses and play with many prominent Belgian and international jazz musicians. In June 2022, he graduated from the conservatoire with highest distinction.

After completing a bachelor in applied economics he dedicated himself to music. Next to his studies at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague he started gigging, teaching and composing. Later he also started organising his own projects and concerts. Resulting in concert series, tours and a number of well received albums, often in collaboration with other musicians.

Christopher Lucas Wilson

Christopher Lucas Wilson is a hard-swingin’ jazz pianist, originally hailing from metropolitan Detroit. His musical journey brought him to Los Angeles for a decade before he eventually settled in Chicago, where he continues to perform, record, and hone his craft.

Christopher was first introduced to music on a Grinnell Brothers piano in his parents’ living room as a young child. It was the enlightening and liberating sound of swing that first drew Christopher to jazz. That feeling sparked an exploration of Detroit’s rich musical history, a city long known for its legacy of musical legends. He first studied with the late greats Bess Bonnier and Marcus Belgrave and would proceed to join the Detroit Symphony Orchestra's Civic Jazz Program, where he met esteemed bassist and educator Rodney Whitaker. By the time he graduated high school, Christopher was entrenched in swing and bebop and went on to further his studies in the jazz program at Michigan State University.

Christopher Lucas Wilson is a hard swingin' pianist originally from metropolitan Detroit, transplanted for a decade to Los Angeles, and now living in Chicago. As a child, Christopher was first introduced to music on a Grinnell Brothers piano in his parents’ living room by a now unknown piano teacher. Although this teacher’s name remains a mystery, Christopher remains indebted for his role in instilling a lifelong passion for music. 

The enlightening and freeing sound of swing is what first attracted Christopher to jazz. His interest in this feeling is what led him to begin exploring Detroit’s rich musical history which was and is replete with musical legends. He first studied with the late greats Bess Bonnier and Marcus Belgrave. Later, he would join the Detroit Symphony Orchestra's Civic Jazz Program where he first met esteemed bassist and educator Rodney Whitaker. By the time Christopher graduated from high school, he was entrenched in swing and bebop and would go on to further his studies within the jazz program at Michigan State University. While at Michigan State, he had the pleasure of studying and performing with Rodney Whitaker, Wess “Warmdaddy” Anderson, Derrick Gardner, Vincent Chandler, Randy Gilespie, Diego Rivera, and Rick Roe. After graduating Christopher immediately began performing with his trio in Detroit, including a weekly jam session at the heralded Baker’s Keyboard Lounge. A short year later, Christopher relocated to sunny swingin’ Los Angeles where he fell in love with Southern California and spent nearly a decade there as a result. During that time he played regularly with his trio and released two albums, "Feelin' Better" and “Leaving Los Angeles." Christopher moved to Chicago in 2019 and is honored and excited to be part of another incredible city rich with musical history. His most recent release, "Solemn Moments" was released in January 2023 and features accomplished musicians and friends Jesse Kramer and Noah Jackson.
