Grew up during the Golden Age of Hip-Hop, when my old man introduced me to some great Hard Bop cats. Since I loved both New York born genres, I invested in a few Bop Jazz drum lessons. That is when I slickly began to combine the Hip-Hop breakbeats, with my Hard Bop swing.

And acclaimed bandleaders began to contact me, because they admired my unique funky Hard Bop swing. I stay familiar with all Jazz standards, and specialize in hard swinging Hard Bop, groove-driven Soul Jazz, and funky Post-Bop Jazz.
