While growing up through the Golden Age of Hip-Hop and Neo Soul, I began taking a few Bop Jazz drum lessons, and took pride mastering all snare drum rudiments, and Jazz standards, that I still devouty practice today.
Instrumental hard swinging Hard Bop, original funky Post-Bop, or providing "Real Hip-Hop" breakbeats, either for our own great rhythm section, or with guest talented spoken-word poets, M.C.'s, or soulful vocalists that prefer the feel of a live rhythm section.
