Jeremy Steinkoler

Born: October 5, 1970

Jeremy has been playing drums professionally for over 25 years. He performs regularly with a wide array of musical projects, including his award-winning saxes-and-drums funk trio Mo’Fone, pop-jazz group Jenna & the Charmers, the Bait & Switch Blues Band, Jennifer Jolly & Friends, the Erika Oba Trio, Jean Fineberg's JAZZphoria, his own J. Steinkoler Quartet, and various other jazz players and singer/songwriters. Colin Hinton

Born: July 19, 1988

Colin Hinton is an active member of Brooklyn’s creative music community. A drummer, percussionist, and composer, his music draws from the jazz and free music traditions of Henry Threadgill, Anthony Braxton, and Muhal Richard Abrams, as well as 20th century classical composers Bartók, Ligeti, Feldman, and Grisey. He has performed in the US, Canada, Central and South America, and Asia, and has had his compositions performed in the US, Italy, and Canada. An active educator in the NYC area, Colin has taught at the City College of New York, numerous music academies, and has many private students. Hinton studied drums with Ed Soph, Tyshawn Sorey, Dan Weiss, Ralph Peterson, and Ari Hoenig, and composition with Ingrid Laubrock, Tyshawn Sorey, and Eric Wubbels

Dave Schoepke

Born: July 15, 1969

Dave Schoepke is an accomplished drummer from the Greater Milwaukee area. He has been the drummer for The Willy Porter Band since 2002 with three acclaimed albums with Willy. In addition to recording and touring he has numerous television and radio appearances. Dave has had the pleasure of working with the Legendary Jethro Tull guitarist Martin Barre. Dave toured with Martin’s band in 2017 and briefly in 2018. He appears on his Live At The Factory Underground album released in 2019. His project, Drums On Low, has received acclaimed reviews from Modern Drummer, Recording Magazine, and numerous global on-line music critics

Roan Kearsey-Lawson

Prolific across most musical genres as both a virtuoso Performer and commissioned Composer. Roan Kearsey-Lawson is “a talented multi-instrumentalist and composer” (Ian Maund, 2014), a Classical Timpanist, Classical World & Jazz Marimba Player, a Classical Percussionist and Piano player, and a experienced Theatre Drum Kit performer. He is “Described as One of the World’s Greatest Vibes Players” (Club for Acts & Actors, London, June 2017). Roan has worked with the likes of Scott Hamilton and Darius Brubeck, and so many more. Magro

With his music Berlin-based drummer and producer MAGRO creates an unusual fusion of acoustic Jazz and produced Hip-Hop/RnB. His project combines many of his musical influences such as Herbie Hancock, J Dilla and Chris Dave.

After his first album “Trippin” was released in 2021 and was awarded with the “German Jazz Prize” (for “Debut Album of the Year”), Magro released his follow- up album “II” (pronounced: Two). On the album he features, among others, the up- and-coming RnB singer Leona Berlin and the New York piano virtuoso BIGYUKI.

Over the years, Magro has collaborated with numerous artists as a drummer and producer- including Kurt Rosenwinkel, Wayne Snow, The Rolling Stones Project and J Lamotta. In addition, he has been a producer on many of Leona Berlin’s albums and singles – including “Wrong Lane (featuring Snoop Dogg)“.

Theo Christo

Theo Christo is a Los Angeles Music Academy 2010 graduate and has since been a professional musician, having participated in various music projects, live and in the studio, as well as in theatre musicals (A Tale Without Name, Spamalot) not only as a drummer/percussionist, but also as a producer, sound & mixing engineer. He has been performing with various independent artists (The Storyville Ragtimers, HMTA, Level X, Methexis…) on album releases, studio sessions and live concerts. He has also been a member of the Philarmonic Orchestra of Aghia Paraskevi. Theo is a founding member of NūN Records, a record label which specializes in cutting vinyl, mixing and mastering. In the fall of 2019 Theo participated not only as a drummer, but also a recording/mixing engineer & producer on Dale Kellison’s bluegrass project, Country From Another Country. As a producer and songwriter Theo has been releasing his music since 2019 through Projēct Sunlight, collaborating with accomplished musicians on compositions and lyrics of his own. After being a tutor at LAMA, Theo has been teaching drums to people of all ages and levels, privately or in group lessons. Since 2011 he has been working for some of the most well known music schools of Athens, Greece, such as Modern Music Arts and Vari Music Lab, as well as private educational institutions, like Paidiko Polytechneio. In 2017, collaborating with tap dancer Maria Hadjipanteli, they introduced Tap ’n’ Groove, a seminar on the conjunction between stage performance and music theory, aiming at a deeper understanding of music. In 2020 Theo published his first book on learning how to play the drums titled Stick to the Groove Vol

Keisuke Kishi

Born: June 18, 1988

Keisuke Kishi is a drummer and composer currently based in Hawaii, California, and New York. He was born in Hiroshima, Japan, in 1988 and began learning drums at the age of seven. At 20, he discovered jazz and was influenced by Tony Williams, Elvin Jones, and Art Blakey. He studied under Rikiya Higashihara, one of Japan’s leading professional drummers, and participated in various jam sessions. In 2009, he began his professional career in Osaka, and in 2012, he formed his own band, 3BAKU Trio. The band performed across the Kansai region at venues such as Mister Kelly's, Royal Horse, and Tower Records Japan. As a solo performer, he also played at Billboard Osaka and participated annually in the Takatsuki Jazz Festival.
 

Joel Klein

Resume’ Joel Klein Drums Education and Experience I have played drums for over 50 years and was on the road for over 10 years. I have played with all style and size bands from duos to big bands to show bands to symphonic bands. I play and teach all styles of music including Jazz, Rock, Country, dance, orchestra, and ethnic rhythms. I studied drums in New York City with Sam Ulano for many years. The method I teach is Sam Ulano’s drum method along with my own innovations. This method teaches you to be able to master the drum and drum set to play in any situation including orchestra, concert band, and marching band
