Biography Composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist Marco Sinopoli has dedicated his training to the study of classical composition and jazz studying with many of the best Italian musicians and teachers. Over the years he has collaborated as a guitarist in Italy and abroad with various artists, in the field of jazz and pop music, including Fabrizio Bosso, Roberto Gatto, Nicola Stilo, Ramberto Ciammarughi, Alessandro Gwis, Lino Patruno, Baraonna, Peppino Gagliardi, Max Gagliardi, Sergio Cammariere, Francesco Di Giacomo, Francesco Fratini, Simone Alessandrini, Federica Mischianti, The Session's Voices, Primiano Di Biasie (Dire Straits) and many others. He has received various commissions as a composer from institutions such as "Nuova Consonanza", "Macerata Arena Sferisterio", "Roman Philharmonic Academy", "Paolo Grassi Foundation", "Seminario de Cultura Mexicana", "Academy of the Cathedral of San Giovanni", "Un organ for Rome "and collaborating with various ensembles and soloists including" Sentieri Selvaggi "by Carlo Boccadoro," Mexico City Wind Quintet "," Mitja Quartet "," Accademia della Cattedrale di San Giovanni "," Imago Sonora " , “Alessandro Carbonare trio”, Michele Marco Rossi, Samuele Telari, Bruno Paolo Lombardi, Andrea Corsi, Luca Cipriano, Alessandra Amorino, Angelo Bruzzese. In 2018 he founded the "Marco Sinopoli-Extradiction" ensemble with which he developed his own original music in a transversal jazz approach, releasing the first album "Chromatic landscape" in 2021 for the label "Parco della Musica records". In 2022 he founded the "Marco Sinoopoli 5et" in wich he plays both piano and the guitar with Simone Alessandrini, soprano sax, Luca Cipriano, clarinet, Marco Siniscalco, bass, and Evita Polidoro on drums. In 2019 he won the prestigious international award "Macerata Opera Festival" and the commission for musical theater work "Can you heart me?" which has seen several replicas within the Sferisterio Festival and the Roma Europa Festival. At the same time, in addition to working in the studio as a session player and arranger, he composes music for plays, short films, commercials and documentaries. Zach “Z. M.” Green is a widely talented and versatile musician well-versed in an extensive variety of musical genres, ensembles, and realms of writing. Born in Columbus, Ohio to a family of hobbyist musicians, Zach knew at a young age that his love of music wouldn’t be limited to just a casual pastime; it would become a deep passion of constant writing and learning. After being surrounded by Barbershop vocal music, casually tinkering at the piano, and drumming on household objects, he took guitar lessons for five years, while simultaneously putting his interest in rhythm to use by playing percussion in elementary and middle school bands. It was in middle school where Zach became fascinated with recording and producing music, creating short covers of pop and classic rock songs at home. Around the same age, he gained experience as a performer playing guitar in a student-led bluegrass band, gigging across central Ohio.

Marcello Carelli

Born: October 2, 1999

Marcello Carelli, 22 years old, is one of the most versatile musicians on the music scene today. Originally from Bedford Hills, New York, Carelli is a currently getting his master's degree in Jazz Studies at the University of Southern California's Thornton School of Music. He received his undergraduate degree in Studio Music and Jazz at the University of Miami's Frost School of Music. Marcello is a former Stamps Distinguished Ensemble Scholar, having been chosen out of many applicants to play in a high profile jazz quintet for four years. Along with this group, Carelli has also played in the award-winning Frost Concert Jazz Band and the Brian Lynch Artist Ensemble. He has also gained a variety of skills in performance, arranging, and composition over these four years. Marcello has already played with many esteemed artists including Russell Ferrante, Brian Lynch, Dave Liebman, Ira Sullivan, John Daversa, Andy Fusco, Walt Weiskopf, and Troy Roberts.

Carrera Quinta´s New album "Big Band" has been nominated for the Latin Grammy in the categorie of best Latin Jazz Album. In 2015 Carrera Quinta decided to come back to the studio and record a new album with a Big Band. Conducted by Colombian Director Ricardo Jaramillo and Recorded by the Latin Grammy award winner engineer Mauricio Cano, the 19 piece Band went to the studio and recorded something unique and special in Colombian music history. The album features compositions awarded in 2013 by Bogotá´s department of Arts, Idartes, and one piece commissioned by Bogotá´s Jazz Festival, Jazz al Parque, in 2014

Avinoam Ettun is an Israeli composer and guitar player. living in New York. An alumnus of the Jerusalem Music Academy and the New School, Ettun has played and recorded with important figures in the Israeli/European/American: Hans-Peter Salentin, Boris Gammer, Milena Jancuric, Jason Rigby, Nadav Assaf, Allina Zalozna ,Jason Rosenblatt's country band, and more. Ettun's work also includes collaborations with artists from other practices: Working with poets and painters and playing in an improvisation ensemble with dancers.The latest release of Ettun, "Searching for Colors," includes his compositions forstring quartet and jazz ensemble, featuring improvised sections and well-orchestrated colorful moments

Luis Mario Ochoa

Guitarist, vocalist, composer, arranger and band leader Luis Mario Ochoa, the Cuban-born, Toronto based musician, released his fifth album Forever Lecuona, on April 6, 2022. A tribute to world renowned Cuban composer Ernesto Lecuona – known as the Gershwin of Cuba – the album features ten of some of the legendary artist’s most beloved compositions, presented in a concert style recital program. Rafael Rosa

Born: March 14, 1985

Rafael has been performing and teaching for the past 12 years in New York City. He is currently part of the Faculty at LIU's ROCNATION, and has taught at other colleges like NYU, CUNY, Saint John’s University, The Brooklyn Music School, Stevens Cooperative and his private studio:  The Brooklyn Rock Academy, helping students graduate to colleges like Berklee College of Music, Wells College, Indiana University, etc. He regularly performs  in NYC as a sideman and as a leader so be sure  to check the calendar. He is currently putting the finishing touches on his second album and first LP as a leader titled “Axiomatic: Music For The People”

Rick Lawn

Born: May 15, 1949

Richard (Rick) Lawn is the former, now retired Dean of the College of Performing Arts at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia (uarts.edu) where he now following retirement professor emeritus in the School of Music. Previously he was the Founding Director of Jazz Studies, Chair of the Department of Music, and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin. Before joining the Texas faculty Rick was Director of Jazz Studies at the University of Northern Iowa. Rick holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from the Eastman School of Music where his principal teachers were Rayburn Wright, Bill Dobbins, Chuck Mangione and William Osseck
