Jason Palmer

Trumpeter | Composer | Educator Jason Palmer is one of the most in demand musicians of his generation. He has performed with Roy Haynes, Herbie Hancock, Jimmy Smith (the organist), Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Ravi Coltrane, Mark Turner, Jeff Ballard, Lee Konitz, Phil Woods, Common, Roy Hargrove, Lewis Nash.
Having made Boston, MA his home for the past 22 years, Jason was recently named to the inaugural class of the Boston Artist in Residence Fellowship for Music Composition. In 2011 and 2017, he was named a Fellow in Music Composition by the Massachusetts Cultural Council. In 2014, Jason was honored as a recipient of the French American Cultural Exchange Jazz Fellowship where he collaborated with French pianist Cedric Hanriot, collaborating on an album entitled "City of Poets" and touring the United States and Europe. Jason won 1st Place in the 2009 Carmine Caruso International Jazz Trumpet Solo Competition and was cited in the June 2007 issue of Downbeat Magazine as one of the "Top 25 trumpeters of the Future".

Dino Govoni

One of the most versatile contemporary saxophonists is undoubtedly Dino Govoni. Govoni learned from two tenor sax greats, Jerry Bergonzi and George Garzone, and furthered his studies by attending Berklee College of Music, studying with the late, great Joe Viola. Govoni hit the road right away with a variety of musical outfits, playing and/or recording with such diverse artists as Grover Washington Jr., Randy Brecker, Eddie Gomez, Billy Hart, Terri Lyne Carrington, Larry Goldings, Bill Stewart, Arturo Sandoval, Cindy Blackman, Joe Beck, Jason Miles, Prassana, Terence Trent D'Arby, Robben Ford, Tom Brechtlein, Ed Spargo, Mel Tormé, the Manhattan Transfer, the Boston Pops, the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, the John Allmark Jazz Orchestra, Frankie Valli, and Englebert Humperdinck, among others. Govoni has two recordings under his own name to date, “Breakin' Out”, and "In the Library", both on the Whaling City Sound label

Boston-based guitarist and composer Björn Wennås is an active musician in Boston and the surrounding area. He is currently the Music Director for Newpoli, a Boston-based Italian world/folk ensemble, and co-leads BC Quintet, together with Carmen Marsico, featuring original compositions drawing inspiration from rock and jazz traditions, contemporary music, and traditional music of Sweden and Italy. Björn made his debut on stage at the age of 12 with the Flamenco group Los Dos Jovenes, led by acclaimed guitarist and educator Miroslav Simic. Engin Ozsahin

Engin Özşahin is a jazz pianist and composer. He was born in 1986 and lived in Istanbul, Turkey until his late twenties. His first musical influence was his grandmother, who played classical piano by Schubert, Rachmaninoff and Chopin. At age 6, Engin started to learn classical piano himself and became very interested in the melodies and harmonies of aforementioned classical composers.
Although music and performing was Engin’s passion, his cultural and family environment which consisted of engineers and architects suggested that these professions were the way to go in life. As a result, he completed mechanical engineering and business administration degrees in Istanbul and worked as a business developer in corporate environments following that.
