Colin Trusedell is the musical director for the United States Air Force Academy Band’s Top 40 ensemble Blue Steel and the adjunct faculty bass professor at Colorado State University – Pueblo. He is one of the most versatile upright and electric bass players in the United States in the field of jazz, fusion, pop and rock music. He is also an active writer, arranger, and bandleader. In 2013, Colin released Some of My Best Friends Are... Divas, featuring him on the upright bass with three of the best jazz singers in Colorado, which earned the rating “Best of 2013” on AllAboutJazz.com

Seattle bassist Kevin McCarthy gained his love for music starting as a trumpet player at a young age, eventually finding his way to bass – his true musical voice. Kevin has studied bass with Doug Miller, Steve Kim, Chuck Deardorf, and John Clayton. Kevin is one of Seattle's busiest musician's, playing frequently around the area with his own quartet and trio. Kevin can also be heard as a sideman for many of the other fine musicians and vocalists in the area. He has performed with nationally known artists such as Pete Christlieb, Paquito D'Rivera, Allen Vizutti, and Jeff Kashiwa

Josh Marcum

Double bassist Josh Marcum has performed with numerous orchestras and ensembles at such noted venues as Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Iridium, Mezzrow, Smoke, and Symphony Space, among others. At home in New York City, Josh works regularly in a duo with master guitarist Gene Bertoncini, and he has also performed alongside other jazz greats such as Bucky Pizzarelli, Les Paul, Donald Brown, Larry Fuller, Roni Ben-Hur, Roger Kellaway, Ralph Lalama, Ed Laub, Paul Meyers, and Bill Mobley.
