Almog Sharvit

After years of exploring and absorbing art in a wide variety of mediums, Bass player Almog Sharvit possesses his own personal and compelling style, both in performance and composition. Born and raised in Israel, Almog grow up playing the cello from the age of 7 and later on pick up the Bass guitar and the Upright bass at the age of 13. While serving the IDF as a band member in the Air Force band ,Almog attended the collaborative program of the Tel-Aviv Conservatorium and The New School for jazz studies(New York). During his studies, Almog has performed throughout Israel and shared the stage with Israel’s finest musicians ,won the America-Israel scholarship between 2012- 2014 and took the first prize in the Rostov International Jazz competition (Russia 2012)

Frans van Geest (1968, USA), is one of Netherland’s busiest bass players and sought after accompanist of major American and European jazz musicians. As a member and pro-founder of the Jazzorchestra of the Concertgebouw he played with Monty Alexander, Johnny Griffin, Dick Oatts, Bud Shank, Joe Lovano, Lee Konitz, Toots Thielemans, Warren Vache, Jimmy Heath, Deborah Brown, Roy Hargrove, Pat Martino, James Blake, Joe Henderson, Elvin Jones, McCoy Tyner, Chick Corea and others. In small groups he accompanied Deborah Brown, Curtis Fuller, Slide Hampton, Bobby Durham, Roy Hargrove, Joe Cohn, Harry Allen, Scott Hamilton and others. Throughout his career, Manoel has released albums that mark his artistic evolution: "Alcatéia" (2002), "Under My Soul" (2012), and the acclaimed "Brazilian News" (2019). The latter, praised by journalist and music critic Carlos Calado, brought a special flavor to his work with Latin jazz and featured Italian trumpeter Gabriel Rosati. "Brazilian News" not only gained over 15,000 listeners in 61 countries on Spotify but also had memorable launch shows at Blue Note SP and the Extrema MG Jazz and Blues Festival in 2019.

Jon LaTona is originally from Buffalo, NY. He took up the electric bass at the age of 12 and started gigging profesionally at the age of 15. He began his curiousity with jazz by taking bass lessons with James Kurzdorfer, the original bassist of Spyra Gyra. He later then went to the University of the Arts in Philadelphia where he gained a better understanding of the jazz under the mentorship of Jim Paxson, Tony Miceli, Kevin MacConnell, Steve Beskrone and others. After graduation, Jon went to LA to pursue studio work where he developed working relationships with Peter Malick (Norah Jones), Butch Norton (Lucinda Williams) and great up and coming singer-songwriter Patrick Joseph

Alan Broome
Alan Broome is the wild, expressive, fiery red-headed, gravel-voiced bassist of the Dukes of Dixieland. Raised in Kenner, LA, Alan started playing electric bass at age 11. He picked up tuba in high school at age 14 and picked up double bass at age 16. He attended Loyola University of New Orleans in 1998 majoring in Music Education. While going to school, Alan learned to play to traditional jazz in the Joe Simon Jazz Band. He played in that group for 4 years, and then moved to Las Vegas to teach middle school and high school orchestra. Jon Dreyer is a Boston-area bassist. He performs regularly with jazz pianist Harvey Diamond, one of Lennie Tristano's last protégés, and with pianist/saxophonist/bandleader/composer James Merenda, both as a member of his band TickleJuice and also in more mainstream jazz settings.
He has also performed with Adam Janjigian, Doug Johnson, Yoko Miwa, Hankus Netsky, Alan Rowe, Mark Shilansky, Alexei Tsiganov, Frank Wilkins, George Garzone, Grace Kelly, Roy Nathanson, Sheila Jordan, Dominique Eade, Jason Palmer, Phil Grenadier, Mike Connors, Dave Fox, Scott Goulding, Bob Gullotti, Joe Hunt, Steve Langone, Miki Matsuki, Austin McMahon, and most of the rest of the Boston jazz community.

Jeong Lim Yang

Her debut album as a leader “déjà vu” (released july 2017 fresh sound new talent) has been highly received among critics and fans.
