Kris Monson

Kris Monson is a bassist and composer pursuing a Master’s of Music in Double Bass Performance at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City. A product of the rich central Virginia jazz community, Kris studied with bassist Pete Spaar and trumpeter John D’earth while an undergraduate student at the University of Virginia. After completing a double major in systems engineering and music at UVA, Kris has continued to play professionally all over the Washington, D.C. and New York City metropolitan areas in venues such as the Kennedy Center, Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola, and Smoke Jazz Club

Julian Costello

Julian Costello is a London-based saxophonist, composer and teacher. He studied at Trinity College of Music and writes the music for the Julian Costello Quartet. He plays in a number of Jazz Big Bands, in a Vocal/Cello and Guitar trio and in a World Music trio called Vertigo with Tabla/Percussion, Oud/Guitar and Soprano Saxophone. Transitions, the last album by the Julian Costello Quartet was released on 33 Jazz Records. It was recorded at Artesuono Studios in Italy and mixed and mastered by ECM engineer Stefano Amerio. The Quartet is due to release a new album called Connections on 33Jazz Records on Friday 6th March 2020. This new quirky quartet has completed two tours of the UK with support from The Arts Council of England and concerts in France, Germany, Poland and belgium

Roberto Montero

Roberto Montero is a Los Angeles based, Brazilian born guitarist & composer. Has performed and/or recorded with Sergio Mendes, Luis Fonsi, Baby Do Brasil, Rique Pantoja, Catina De Luna & Otmaro Ruiz - Lado B Project, Laércio De Freitas, Rickey Minor, Dorian Holley among others, (performed) at The Blue Note - Tokyo, across the United States, Europe & Africa, at NBC’s "The Tonight Show" & "The Voice", John Pisano’s Guitar Night, Honorary Oscars & many other venues in LA. His movie credits include Century Fox “Rio 2”, Walt Disney “Zé Carioca Goes To Carnaval”, “Golden Hour”, Discovery Channel “For better & For Worse”


Michael Vitali

A native of Zurich, Switzerland, Michael Vitali hit the New York music scene in 2002, shortly after graduating from Berklee College of Music. Though he arrived with little more than a change of clothes, a drum set and a voracious appetite for music, Michael immediately impressed his audiences and peers with his innate sensitivity and dynamism. The appropriately named Vitali maintains an astonishing performance schedule, with appearances in New York’s most popular venues, such as Fat Cat, Smoke, Cleopatra’s Needle and The Metropolitan Room, to name a few. Michael has toured throughout the US and Europe, he has recorded on several albums and performed live on WKCR. Steeped in jazz tradition, Michael is also known for his versatility
