Lauren Bush

Originally born and raised in Canada, Lauren relocated to London to pursue music on a new level just over 3 years ago. Daughter of an accomplished jazz trumpeter father and music teacher mother, it is no surprise that Lauren grew up to have such an aptitude for music. She ignored her gift for many years, certain that music would only be a hobby; taking voice lessons but was too afraid to perform. In 2004, on a whim, Lauren auditioned for her university big band, won the position and never looked back. Traveling extensively around North America, Lauren has had some amazing opportunities to perform

Sonia Johnson

Les Productions Sonia Johnson, headquartered in Montreal, produced its first CD, Don’t explain in 2005 with the help of a grant from the Fondation du maire de Montréal pour la jeunesse [the Montreal Mayor’s Foundation for Youth]. The artist garnered critical acclaim for her first release. This first production allowed the jazz vocalist to gain recognition in her artistic field and new collaborations arose, such as her participation in Frédéric Alarie’s project Sous Hôte Tension part of the 2006 edition of the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal. Sharing a common vision of jazz music, Frédéric and Sonia decided to explore composing together, and were then joined by pianist Luc Beaugrand and drummer Camil Belisle

Named Editor's Choice for Best Local Band of 2016 from City Weekend, The Spice Cabinet, led by frontman keyboardist Terry Hsieh, is the instrumental jazz machine that slices, dices every pop number into the frenzy of a pop modern dance beat of wonder. It's pop according to jazz, sprinkled with funk, hip-hop, bebop and rock.

Claudia Vorbach

Claudia Vorbach is a singer-songwriter and a jazz vocalist that comes from Tübingen, Southern Germany. Jazz, Folk and Blues is crossing her songwriting. She grew up in a musical home with Jazz and classical music. She took piano lessons and learned guitar playing as a self-educator. Later on she developed her voice with different teachers. Mainly the Jazz Vocalist Freddy Wilkes and then Fola Dada, both in Germany. “Miss Authentic” one of her fellow musicians has called her, a nickname that expresses an essential feature of her music. The way she sings makes you feel her passionate urge to get across to the audience what she herself feels about her songs. For her each song has a kind of impetus which she wants to follow while composing the music
