Paul Unger

Paul Unger is currently the Assistant Principal Bass of the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra. An accomplished bassist and composer, Mr. Unger’s versatile abilities have allowed him to appear as a featured soloist with the Fort Worth/ Dallas Ballet, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and the Mimir Chamber Music Festival. His diverse abilities have also allowed him to perform and/or record with such diverse artists as Elle King, Cheryl Bentyne, Byron Stripling, Bobby Shew, Bob Newhart, Bernadette Peters, Jay Clayton, Peggy Stern, Ricki Derek, Montango, Andrea Bocelli and The Who. Paul was instructor of Double Bass at TCU from 2005-2007 and is currently performs with internationally recognized singer, Suzi Stern and guitarist Tom Reynolds

Lizzi Trumbore

DFW based vocalist and composer Lizzi Trumbore infuses catchy melodies, lush harmonies, introspective lyrics, and genre-bending grooves to create a unique spin on both the pop and jazz idioms. Her debut album "Lifelines" is set to release in the fall of 2019. Lizzi is a published songwriter and arranger who’s original compositions have been performed by collegiate and professional vocal groups throughout the country and at the JEN (The Jazz Education Network) and ACDA (American Choral Director’s Association) conferences. Her songs have been described as "world class," "sincere and intelligently crafted," and "full of beautiful surprises." She skillfully combines a vibrant and youthful perspective on songwriting while still capturing a mature depth and understanding of the art form. Trumbore has worked and performed alongside premiere jazz artists including Sara Gazarek, Josh Nelson, Jo Lawry, vocal group Groove for Thought, and Peter Sprague

Song Dynasty

A collaboration between Taiwanese vocalist Li Liu and Canadian guitarist Ben Holt, Song Dynasty has been serenading audiences with their unique sounds since the group’s inception in 2015. Meeting in Denton, Texas, the duo decided to explore their musical differences and began cultivating a sound all their own. Liu began her music career while a university student of Chinese literature in Taiwan. She quickly rose to the top of the Taipei jazz scene, winning awards and accolades, eventually becoming one of the most sought-after voices in Taiwan. Seeking new inspiration and a deeper background in jazz, Liu relocated to the United States. A versatile guitarist based out of Dallas-Fort Worth, Holt was a regular on the jazz, country and pop scenes when he and Liu first met

Lola Batiste

Vocals Elite - Lola Batiste -Recording Artist ​Born in Paris, Texas to a musical family, Lola Batiste whose aunt was a Baptist church pianist/singer with a fervent vocal style had an early influence on Lola's interpretation of a lyric. Lola attended the Catholic church whose choir pianist had a more repressed style, began singing hymns in the church where she fused her aunt's fervent gospel singing influence with the subdued style of the Catholic church creating a unique mix of vocal style that leaned more toward a melancholy vibe. She has worked with some of DFW's finest such as jazz vocalist Victor Cager and pianist/vocalist James Belk while honing her craft. In 2017 Lola competed in the "Denise Lee Onstage So You Think You Can Cabaret" competition where she won 3rd place with her rendition of Billie Holiday's "Fine and Mellow". In a musical collaboration with songwriter Nico Rizzuto of Cologne, Germany Lola provided the vocals for the creation of “Because You Know Me” a jazzy tune that had some airplay in Germany. Lola has also had the honor of being a member of the prestigious Women's Chorus of Dallas where she sang first soprano under the artistic direction of Melinda Imthurn.​ Along with two other actresses she portrayed Diana Ross with the Supremes in the Marsha Moses musical production of “From Dixie to Broadway” a musical documenting the history of African American music
