I was 13 at the time and a member of the Dixie Small Fry. The show date was Dec. 29, 1957 and we're talking the Sunday big Dinah Shore Chevy Show with a kick ass studio band led by Harry Zimmerman. Irv Kotler was the drummer. We had recorded an album for Liberty Records that summer and it did pretty well. We also did the Danny Thomas Show twice. Dinah was so generous and nice to us and I always thought she was an underrated singer.
