Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts, the nationally renowned summer arts camp whose Jazz Department was created by Dr. Billy Taylor, will hold a free Open House on Sunday January 25 from 11 AM to 2 PM for its 48th, 2015 season.

Artists who have performed and taught at Usdan include Jimmy Heath, Usdan alumna Jane Monheit, Arturo O'Farrill, Jon Faddis, Bobby Watson, Ted Rosenthal and Dr. Taylor. Usdan features a Jazz program of instrumental and vocal music for all levels.
Students ages 6-18 from New York City and throughout the Tri-State Area attend Usdan each summer, transported by air-conditioned buses. About 1/3 are on scholarship.
Open Houses let families obtain information on programs and tour the 200-acre woodland campus.
There is a $100 discount for enrollment through January 31.
