The Jazz Corner presents an ambitious and spectacular spring series of weekend concerts beginning on April 1:
April 6-7 - Recording her live CD for Sweet Jazz Recordings, vocalist Deborah Brown performs with The Ben Tucker Trio.
April 13-14 - The Big Band Brass Bash performs the great American songbook swing style.
April 20-21 - The Noel Freidline Quintet
April 27-28 - Releasing her newest album, recorded on the Sweet Jazz label, jazz flutist, Ali Ryerson performs with guitarist Howard Paul and bassist George Sheck from her new CD
May 4-5 - Dixieland jazz band HOTLANTA
May 11-12 - Recording his newest CD with Sweet Jazz, pianist Kevin Bales performs with his trio, including Quentin Baxter on drums and Rodney Jordan on bass
May 18-19 - Vocalist Marlene Ver Planck with The Bob Alberti Trio
May 25-26 - Jimmy Smith B3 Hammond Organ tribute with The Scott Giddens Quartet
Ticket charges vary between $10 and $20 and reservations can be made online at www.thejazzcorner.com. Music begins around 8:00 during Spring and continues until 11:30 p.m.
