The Birth of a New Arts Related .Com Company in Toronto

What do you get when you combine the talents of up and coming singers and musicians from the local jazz scene in Toronto and the wonderful world of cyberspace? The answer is a refreshing and entertaining show that launched a website with a focus on the Canadian arts industry.

eDionysus.com marks the birth of a centralized meeting place for the arts in Cyberspace. It will eventually provide information on everything from new theatrical and musical venues across Canada, to links on books and information for the arts industry. The initial geographic focus for the site will be Toronto, Canada. Principal Zaigham Zulqernain, who also titles himself as “Chief Thespian", says “eDionysus.com will be the primary source of information for the Arts in Canada with a focus on the individual communities that exist in each city. We hope to eventually have a hand on all of North America".

The production, which was produced through an alliance that the website has with live entertainment producer Key 2 Life Entertainment, featured the talent of local up and coming jazz signers and musicians singing the wonderful works of Cole Porter and George Gershwin. The evening took place at the newly named Toronto Centre for the Arts in Toronto. The evening was hosted by Doug Watson, of CJRT 91.1, Toronto's destination for Jazz in Toronto and the surrounding areas.
