Tom Abbott's 11-piece Big Bang Big Band will be playing the early set at this historic Greenwich Village Jazz Club.
It promises to be an unusual and exciting evening, featuring the music of Billy Strayhorn, Duke Ellington, Count Basie and Fletcher Henderson, but ranging outside of classic swing repertoire to explore the likes of Sun Ra and other modern composers as well.
