Singer/Songwriter Linda Stout will perform during Alphabet Lounge's Janis Joplin tribute on Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2005 8-9 p.m. A native of Ithaca, New York, Linda has recently been nominated for two 2004 “Jimmie" awards by the arts editor of The Ithaca Journal, named for best solo CD and best female singer. She will perform her own jazz and alternative originals from her debut CD on Ghost Cat Records, Good Luck Child, and will also perform 3-4 songs in tribute to Janis Joplin.
