Saxophonist/flutist Rob Scheps will bring his NYC-based Core-tet to the Cold Spring Gazebo, Cold Spring ,NY this Sunday July 16th outdoors at 5:30-7:30 pm--free admission, all ages.
The Core-tet was started in NYC in 1989 and has played the Ottawa Jazz Fest, Small's, Mikell's & 5 Spot( NYC), the Middle East (Boston), Jazz Alley (Seattle), and many other venues.
A rotating cast plays Scheps' originals. plus rare chestnuts by Holland, Shorter, Weiskopf, Herbie Nichols and more.
