Pittsburgh’s newest jazz club Con Alma announces two exciting music series
Con Alma is excited to announce Latin Jazz Sundays and All-Pittsburgh Wednesdays. Starting in September, Con Alma will open its doors every Sunday from 5:00PM-11:00PM. Pittsburgh musicians will perform selections from the Latin music tradition from 7:00PM-10:00PM. The club will spin handpicked Latin vinyl selections on the house turntable between sets. The featured menu will include critically-acclaimed Latin-inspired food and original cocktails.
All-Pittsburgh Wednesdays, a new residency series celebrating the Steel City’s place in jazz history, will feature repertoires comprised of selections composed by Pittsburghers or musicians with close Pittsburgh ties. Resident musicians will take the stage from 8:00PM-11:00PM every Wednesday evening. The club will also host a Pittsburgh-heavy vinyl happy hour from 5:00PM-7:00PM, which will include a unique cocktail special and featured dinner dish.
